|In 1939, Guiseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling carreer. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture firm in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The company is still in production today.
During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.
One of them was the Olmo Grand Prix. The Olmo Grand Prix/strong> was part of the ladies road bike series. It was an entry level road bike for those who started to get serious about racing but did not want to spend thousands just for the little extra advantage they brought. The model was later discontinued and replaced by less ambitous builds.
The bike we present here is suitable for sportive riding with a complete Campagnolo Record shifting. It is a well made and light bike, equipped with reliable all-italian components. The frame is made of quality Falck steel tubes. The paintwork is still original and in great condition.
This bike is suitable for any vintage cycling event and will also carry you on weekend rides.
