Cicli Di Lorenzo was a family owned bussines in Monza, which Gianni Di Lorenzo inherited from his father. Gianni was always around bikes an soon he started to race them. From a promising amateur he evolved to a very successful professional and he wore some very prominent team jerseys at the time. Molteni, Brooklyn, or Magniflex Torpado to name a few.
After some unfortunate injuries he was forced to terminate his racing career and he focused on the family business instead. Since he had a deep knowledge of the racing scene, Cicli Di Lorenzo became the racing department of team Atala. Later on Gianni worked as a technician for many high-profile professional teams like Mapei, Carrera or Liquigas.
This Di Lorenzo Performance road frame set has been built in the 1980s of top class Columbus Sl tubes and it is clear at a first glance that it is very nicely made.
As an extra, the Di Lorenzo pantographed stem and shifting levers are included in the offer. It is certainly a very classy base for you next vintage bike project.
