Guido Messina was a Champion road and track cyclist who rode with the Frejus and Molteni teams in the 1950s and 1960s. After retiring from competition, he began distributing high-quality road and track bicycles, most of which were built by master artisans near Turin, including Giovanni Pelà and Villata among the others. 3ttt (Tecno Tubo Torino) pioneered the creation of aluminium cockpits for the professional ranks. They have pushed the boundaries of technology since the 1950s in creating some of the best components available. This quilled stem from the 1980s has detailed pantographed engravings from the Messina line of frames.
