Ugo De Rosa is arguably one of the greatest frame builders of all time. Not only did he supply countless champions with his high-end bicycles - but also manufactured masterpieces which strongly influenced the cycling industry, as did the De Rosa Professional SLX.
The Professional SLX is one of the best bicycles of the 1980s. Manufactured with Columbus SLX tubes with inner reinforcements, butted sections and reinforced chain stays, the Professional SLX marked a turning point in the history of De Rosa, creating the link between traditional and modern steel frame design.
Additionally track versions of the road racing frames are are really rather rare. So proudly we present this De Rosa Professional SLX Track Bike from 1987.
The bike is in great, original condition and illustrates the popular colours of the Ceramiche Ariostea team, which De Rosa sponsored for several years . Regarding the components, this De Rosa is equipped with the best parts possible at that time: a complete Campagnolo C-Record Pista groupset with iconic "Sheriff Star" hubs.
A unique example of Ugo De Rosa's legacy. A bicycle with a great appeal for connoisseurs and enthusiasts. To ride this giant, you should be around 200cm tall.
