Peugeot was one of those early bicycle manufacturers which grew big and successful during the 20th century. Their first bike was already built around 1882 but their reputation grew mainly due to their racing activities from 1903 until 1983.
In this time they managed to win the Tour de France 10 times and a number Championships, Classics and one day races. Who has not seen the pictures of Tom Simpson and Eddy Merckx, winning the World Championships 1965 and 1967 on a Peugeot?
This Peugeot PFN10 dates back to the early 1980s and it#s frame has been made of Vitus 172 double butted steel tubing. It is fitted with proper French parts from Simplex, Atax, Rigida, Atom or Mafac.
Handmade in France, this particular vintage bike embodies the solid reputation of old Peugeot bikes: stable and sportive!
