Released in 1983, the Colnago Master is an evergreen of the steel frame manufacturing and possibly the most winning frameset ever produced by Colnago.
Brought to the victory by Giuseppe Saronni (Colnago del Tongo Team) at its debut to competitions in 1984, the Colnago Master was manufactured with Columbus Gilco Design - Profilo S4 tubing with a distinctive profiled diamond-shaped cross section. These tubes were designed by Gilberto Colombo to improve the stiffness and to better withstand mechanical strain. The result is a light, reactive and stiff steel frame.
This particular Colnago Master has been professionally refurbished. The chome has been also redone.
