This Colnago Super stems from approximately 1980 and to cut straight to the chase, it's special. Colnago Super, as a very successful and long lasting model is not a rare sight on classic cycling events. What's really special though is a bike in well preserved original paintjob. Just like our Super which is on top in the iconic Saronni red colour and with original decals.
But it is not just the exceptional original condition of the paintjob, the parts are stunning as well. The Campagnolo Super Record groupset is just a very fine base for a truly prestigious machine. You will find some lightweight tuning parts like the OMAS headset or F.T. Bologna bottom bracket, but also stitched leather bar cover and above all many precise pantographes made by Colnago.
And it is also worth mentioning that the wheelset has been freshly hand built with a pair of mint Nisi tubular rims.
A very special Super for true Colnago fans.

| The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks and is not bent. The paintwork is original with some minor signs of usage like small scratches and abrasions. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride. | |
